Manor Drive Primary Academy is a new school located in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The Academy is made up of a Nursery (3–4 year olds) and Primary School (currently Reception, and Year 1, with Year 2 pupils from September 2024). Manor Drive is an ideal place to enhance your career, in a small team with high expectations. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Manor Drive Primary Academy to lead our thriving and excellent Inclusion Department from September 2024. The successful candidate will ensure we deliver the highest quality of education, range of opportunities, standards of achievement and attainment for our SEND students. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL: 

  • Have a range of experience working with children with complex needs. 
  • Be a strong leader who is committed to providing the highest standards of provision for SEND students by supporting colleagues, parents and students. 
  • Be experienced in rigorous tracking and monitoring of children’s progress, identifying needs and implementing effective strategies. 
  • Be experienced in working within the SEND Code of Practice as a SENCo or teacher. 
  • Be an excellent communicator, with a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, Governors, and the community. 
  • Have or be willing to complete the programme to gain the National Award for SENCo (NASENCO)
