Peterborough United Visit Inspires Healthy Living During Fit for Fun Week

On Tuesday, Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs, welcomed special visitors Peter Burrow and Gavin from Peterborough United (POSH) as part of our exciting Fit for Fun Week activities.

During the visit, Gavin delivered an engaging and interactive talk focused on the importance of staying active and maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. The children learnt about the different food groups and how each one helps to keep our bodies healthy, strong and energised.

Pupils enthusiastically participated throughout the session, particularly enjoying the interactive exercise wheel activity. After spinning the wheel, children completed a range of fun exercises, bringing plenty of energy, smiles and excitement to the hall.

The session provided a fantastic opportunity for children to learn more about making positive lifestyle choices in a fun and memorable way. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and participation from all year groups.

We would like to thank Peter Burrow and Gavin from Peterborough United for taking the time to visit our school and support our Fit for Fun Week activities.
