Year Four Sweet Success with Zentangle Ice Cream Cones

Children at Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of The Four Cs Trust, have been showcasing their creativity and artistic talent through a fun and engaging Zentangle art project.

Using the Zentangle technique, pupils designed and created colourful ice cream cone masterpieces, filling each section with intricate patterns, shapes, and imaginative designs. The activity encouraged children to explore different artistic styles while developing concentration, creativity, and fine motor skills.

The finished artwork was truly impressive, with every ice cream cone demonstrating the individuality and imagination of its creator. From bold geometric patterns to detailed swirling designs, the children embraced the challenge and produced vibrant pieces of art that brightened classrooms and corridors across the school.

Projects such as these provide valuable opportunities for pupils to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and take pride in their work. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and focus shown by all children as they experimented with different Zentangle patterns and techniques.

We are incredibly proud of our young artists and the fantastic effort they put into their creations. Well done to everyone involved for producing such delightful and eye-catching artwork!

At Manor Drive Primary Academy, we continue to encourage creativity and self-expression, helping every child to flourish both inside and outside the classroom.
