Harvest Festival Donations Support Local Families
At Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of The Four Cs Trust, we are incredibly proud of the kindness and generosity shown by our school community during our recent Harvest Festival celebrations. Special thanks go to The Reverend George for leading our whole school assembly on the theme of giving.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our families who donated food and hygiene products to support those in need within our local community. The response was overwhelming, and the collection demonstrated the caring values that are at the heart of our school.
Today, the donations were collected by Peterborough Foodbank and will be distributed to help support many local families facing difficult circumstances. These essential items will make a real difference to people who need extra support during challenging times.
Our Harvest Festival is an important opportunity for children to learn about compassion, empathy and helping others. We are delighted that our pupils and families embraced this opportunity so enthusiastically, showing what can be achieved when a community comes together for a common cause.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated, and we are proud to be part of such a caring and giving community.
What a wonderful example of the Manor Drive Primary Academy spirit in action!
