Year 4 Pupils Develop Their Musical Talents Through Ukulele Lessons

Our Year 4 pupils have been enjoying an exciting musical journey this Autumn Term through weekly ukulele lessons delivered by a specialist music teacher from the Peterborough Music Hub.
The sessions provide children with the opportunity to develop a range of musical skills, including learning chords, maintaining rhythm and understanding the fundamentals of performance. Throughout each lesson, pupils demonstrate enthusiasm, perseverance and growing confidence as they explore the world of music and learn to play together as an ensemble.
Music plays an important role in enriching our curriculum, encouraging creativity, self-expression and teamwork. It is fantastic to see our pupils embracing new challenges and building their skills week by week. The lessons not only help children develop musically but also support important personal qualities such as resilience, concentration and confidence.
We are incredibly proud of the progress our Year 4 pupils have made so far and look forward to watching their musical talents continue to grow throughout the year.
A huge thank you to the Peterborough Music Hub for providing these inspiring learning opportunities and helping to nurture the next generation of young musicians.
We look forward to sharing more updates from our Year 4 music lessons in the coming months.
