Teamwork and Determination on Display in PE Lessons

Pupils across Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs Trust, have been demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship during their PE lessons this week.

Our Year 4 children have been developing their balance, coordination and trust through Cheerleading Gymnastics. Working closely with their partners and groups, they have shown confidence and resilience as they practised new skills and supported one another.

Year 5 pupils have been putting their communication and collaboration skills into action during Tag Rugby. Through teamwork and effective communication, they have been learning how to create space, support teammates and work together towards a shared goal.

Meanwhile, Year 6 have been honing their batting, bowling and fielding skills in Cricket. Throughout their lessons, pupils have demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, encouraging one another and working together to achieve success.

It has been fantastic to see so many children applying one of our Learning Toolkit skills, Teamwork, in a practical setting. Whether encouraging classmates, sharing ideas or celebrating each other’s successes, our pupils have shown that working together helps everyone achieve more.

We are incredibly proud of the positive attitudes, effort and enthusiasm on display throughout our PE lessons this week. Well done to all of our pupils for representing the values of Manor Drive Primary Academy so brilliantly.
