Fit for Fun Week: Promoting Health, Teamwork, and Active Lifestyles

This week, our school is celebrating our ‘Fit for Fun’ week, a wonderful opportunity for pupils to focus on staying active, healthy, and working together. The week will be filled with exciting activities that encourage fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment through physical exercise.

We are especially grateful to Youth Dreams Project (YDP) for launching the week with a fantastic whole-school assembly on Monday. Their inspiring message focused on the importance of teamwork and simple ways to stay fit and healthy every day. The children were fully engaged and left the assembly feeling motivated and ready to take on the week ahead.

In addition to leading the assembly, YDP generously provided every class from Reception to Year Four with a Multi Skills PE session. These sessions gave pupils the chance to take part in a variety of fun, team-based physical challenges that helped develop coordination, communication, and cooperation. The energy and enthusiasm from both the YDP coaches and the children were clear to see!
