MDPA supports the Poppy Appeal

Manor Drive Primary Academy Supports the Poppy Appeal

This week, pupils and staff at Manor Drive Primary Academy have been showing their support for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by selling a range of special merchandise to raise money for this important cause.

Children across the school have been able to purchase a variety of poppy-themed items, including snap bands, keyrings, pencils, and traditional paper poppies. The fundraising effort not only helps to support serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces and their families, but also encourages our pupils to reflect on the meaning of Remembrance and the importance of helping others.

Staff and pupils have been incredibly enthusiastic, with many children proudly wearing their poppies around school. We are very grateful to everyone who has contributed and shown such kindness and respect during this time of remembrance.

All money raised will go directly to the Royal British Legion to support their continued work in providing care and support to those who have served our country.

At Manor Drive Primary Academy, we are proud to play our part in remembering those who gave so much for us.
