Year Two Create Colourful Rainbow Wraps in DT

Year Two at Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs Multi Academy Trust, have been busy in Design and Technology and what a delicious time they had!

As part of their DT learning, the children made their very own rainbow wraps. Using cucumbers, apples, and a variety of other colourful fruits and vegetables, they carefully created bright, healthy wraps packed full of goodness.

The children practised their safe cutting skills, learning how to handle equipment responsibly while preparing their ingredients. They showed great focus and care as they sliced, chopped and layered each item to create a beautiful rainbow effect inside their wraps.

It was wonderful to see such creativity and teamwork as the children thoughtfully arranged their ingredients in colourful layers. The end results were crunchy, tasty and absolutely delicious!

Well done, Year Two, what a fantastic way to combine healthy eating, practical skills and creativity!
