Craig Petrie - Headteacher

I am excited to be involved in the development and opening of a fantastic new school:  a place that will provide an environment for your child to feel safe and flourish while they fulfil the expectations set of every child on their academic journey.

Throughout my time as a teacher, I have aspired to become the Headteacher of a school that offers an excellent education and develops positive attitudes towards learning.  I have worked within the Four Cs Multi Academy Trust, developing a wide skill set and gaining experience with children of all ages.  I am keen to bring my knowledge and enthusiasm to Manor Drive helping it to become a place of educational excellence and true belonging.

Over the coming years I expect the school to blossom as our local community grows in order to meet the varying needs of the children and families who attend.  Our aim is to help our students learn key values and understand that we should all work hard, be kind and be brave.  Our ethos is based on providing children with opportunities to develop themselves in an environment that is positive, welcoming and supportive of all.  We are an Academy that values individual wellbeing, collaboration with others, has high expectations of all, follows an enriching curriculum and understands the importance of reading.  We aim to make learning engaging and memorable.
